Crete library offers Green Scene Board

The Green Scene Board, located in the adult section at Crete Public Library, offers various lists on where to recycle glass, Styrofoam, electronics, automobile parts and more.
Also available are informative handouts from the Lions Club Recycling Center, Tech Recycling Services and Eco Friendly Cleaning.
The library also offers free handouts on the Will County Recycling program, which includes information on composting, light recycling, household hazardous waste collections and electronic recycling.
Each month the board features ways to go green and local and world news.
