BURGLARY: Copper piping and steel shelving were stolen between Dec. 14 and 17 from a vacant home in the 1400 block of Torrence Avenue.
THEFT: Four catalytic converters were stolen Dec. 17 from cars parked at Cris Auto, 1336 S. Halsted St.
HOME BURGLARY: A television, VD player and a purse were stolen Dec. 18 from a house in the 400 block of West 12th Street.
BURGLARY: a computer, $1,100 in cash and gold jewelry were stolen Dec. 18 from a house in the 1600 block of Buena Vista Avenue.
VAN THEFT: A 2000 Ford Windstar van was stolen Dec. 18 or 19 in the 300 block of 17th Street.
VANDALISM: Someone shattered windows Dec. 19 at four Pace bus stop shelters along 14th Street at Wallace Street and Center, Cottage Grove and Wentworth avenues.
THEFT: An air conditioner was stolen Dec. 20 from a vacant home in the 300 block of Carey Street.
BOGUS BILL: A man used a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for a 220-piece rotary tool set Dec. 20 at Radio Shack, 521 W. 14th St., police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Jared W. Peterson, 23, 1036 Union Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 20 incident at his residence, police said.
DUI ARREST: Robert C. Hampton, 21, 287 W. 15th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, driving without a valid license, having expired registration, no insurance and failure to yield after a Dec. 21 stop at 24th and Butler streets, police said.
