Serena Hills Elementary School students and staff in Chicago Heights recognized their paraprofessionals on Feb. 13 for Paraprofessional Appreciation Day.

Paraprofessionals were presented with cards and gifts in appreciation of all their hard work.

Pia Kong, Maddalena Werner, Felice Wilson, Victor Hicks, Kailey Arrivo, Lisa Martin, Barbara Bates and Pam Abbott were among those who participated in the festivities

Others who took part in the celebration included Sherrie Quealy, Ruth Gersch, Angenette Espinosa, Sharon Weed and Sue Kachavos.
