CHICAGO HEIGHTS

BURGLARY: Someone stole copper pipes, a stove, refrigerator and cabinets between Feb. 1 and 13 from an abandoned house in the 200 block of West 16th Street.

BURGLARY: A gas meter, water meter, air conditioning unit and copper pipe were stolen between Feb. 5 and 15 from a vacant home in the 400 block of West 15th Street.

THEFT: Someone stole an estimated $1,000 worth of electrical equipment between Feb. 10 and 13 from a property in the 100 block of East 24th Street.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, DVD player and a classic car model were stolen between Feb. 10 and 17 from a house in the 500 block of Andover Street.

WINDOWS BROKEN: Windows were broken Feb. 12 or 13 on two cars in the 1600 block of Aberdeen Street.

TRUCK THEFT: A 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen Feb. 13 in the 300 block of Iris Lane. It was later recovered in a pond in Coal City by Grundy County sheriff’s police.

DUI CHARGE: Jose Quiroz, 35, of Cicero, was charged with drunken driving, driving without a valid license, improper lane use and driving without headlights after a Feb. 13 stop at 16th Street and Chicago Road, police said.

BATTERY: Leroy Alfored, 26, 414 W. 14th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with battery and trespassing after refusing to leave Enzo’s Beef, 1710 Chicago Road, where he was begging customers for money on Feb. 13, police said.

BURGLARY: Someone stole a refrigerator and copper pipe Feb. 13 from a vacant house in the first block of Hickory Street.

BURGLARY: A refrigerator was stolen between Feb. 13 and 21 from a vacant home in the 400 block of West 15th Street.

TRESPASSING: Darnell Willis, 44, was charged with criminal trespass after entering Ricky’s Supermarket, 273 E. 16th St., on Feb. 14 after being previously banned from the store for harassing customers, police said.

DUI ARREST: Sean Coleman, 32, 16948 Briargate Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with drunken driving, running a red light, having a defective windshield and illegal transportation of alcohol after a Feb. 14 stop at 14th Place and Aberdeen Street, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Anthony Sheehan, 32, 4610 W. 183rd St., Country Club Hills, was charged with possession of marijuana, running a stop sign and no insurance after a Feb. 15 stop at 16th and Division streets, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Diana Castaneda, 42, 251 W. 15th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after she was stopped Feb. 16 at 19th Place and Chicago Road, police said.

ROBBERY: A 20-year-old Chicago Heights man told police he was attacked Feb. 16 by a group of men who stole his keys and cellphone outside of Eagle Liquor, 1704 Chicago Road.

HOME BURGLARY: Three televisions and two video game systems were stolen Feb. 17 from a home in the 1900 block of Adams Street.

DUI ARREST: Juan Reynoso, 52, 1210 West End Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, running a stop sign, driving without a valid license and improper lane use Feb. 17 after a stop at 16th and Halsted streets, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Juan Nunez, 32, 593 W. 16th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and improper lane use after a stop Feb. 17 outside his home, police said.

BURGLARY: Someone stole a furnace and copper pipe around Feb. 18 from a vacant home in the 400 block of West 16th Place.

BATTERY: Gerry Branagan, 19, 16920 Magnolia Drive, University Park, was charged with battery after punching another man during a Feb. 18 argument in the 1900 block of Bunker Street, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Guy Wajney, 56, 3305 Halsted St., Steger, was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and driving without a valid license after being stopped Feb. 19 at 16th Street and Chicago Road, police said.

RESISTING ARREST: Paris Fisher, 22, 314 W. 16th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with resisting arrest after he gave police a phony name when they questioned him Feb. 19 about why he was carrying four copper pipes in the 400 block of West 16th Street, police said.

STOLEN SAFE: Employees at Premier Auto, 135 N. Halsted St., Chicago Heights, told police someone broke into the office Feb. 20 or 21 and stole a gray safe that did not contain money but miscellaneous documents.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, DVD player, video game system, laptop computer, jewelry and $300 in cash were stolen Feb. 21 from a house in the 1500 block of Euclid Avenue.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Ramone Smith, 26, 9860 S. Calhoun Ave., Chicago, was charged with domestic battery after a Feb. 23 incident in the 200 block of West 15th Street, police said.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Elesia Coleman, 26, 1238 Washington St., Chicago Heights, was charged with aggravated assault after threatening a man with a knife in her home on Feb. 23, police said.

SLASHED TIRES: Four tires on a vehicle were slashed Feb. 24 in the 1600 block of Ashland Avenue.

DUI CHARGE: Jovon Jones, 30, 30 Osage St., Park Forest, was charged with drunken driving and driving on a suspended license after a Feb. 24 stop in the 100 block of West Joe Orr Road, police said.

DUI ARREST: Pablo Salazar, 43, 26435 Dixie Highway, Crete, was charged with drunken driving, running a stop sign and no insurance after he was stopped Feb. 24 at 16th and Halsted streets, police said.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Edward Clark. 47, 15100 Honore Ave., Harvey, was charged with domestic assault after a Feb. 25 disturbance in the 19400 block of Glenwood Road, police said.
