Bloom Trail students perform at Chicago Soul game

Updated: May 8, 2013 6:16AM

Students from Bloom Trail High School performed the national anthem, delivered a color guard performance and entertrained fans with a halftime show at a recent Chicago Soul Professional Indoor Soccer game against the Baltimore Blast.

The audience at the Sears Center Arena and the team was impressed with the job the kids did.

The anthem singer, Janae Allen, is one of the finest in the school district and is one of the key members of the Bloom School District choir.

The Armed Exhibition team delighted the crowd at halftime with a series of rifle spins, tossed and other moves which are not only done for exhibition but at local competitions as well.

The groups will return to both the Sears Center and Allstate Arena for performances throughout the season.

If you would like them to perform at any other events please contact Cdr. Tim Crawford at tcrawford@sd206.org or 708-758-7000, Ext. 3240.
