The Crete Woman’s Club’s 23rd Annual Garden Walk, “A Day in the Country — Water Wise Gardening,” will be held June 25 to 27 at the Lincolnshire Country Club, 390 E. Richton Road, Crete.
The event includes garden walks, luncheons and a boutique garden faire.
Water conservation will be a gardening focus during the event.
Illinois Master Gardeners will be on hand with information on “Every Drop Counts,” a discussion of water conservation as gardener’s approach the 2013 season.
Vendors with garden-related items will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 26 and 27.
Tickets are required for the garden walks and luncheons.
A preview garden walk night will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. June 25.
Garden walks will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 26 and 27, and buffet luncheons on the same days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
