Paula Ethridge, a teacher for 26 years, was nominated by Seton Academy in South Holland to receive an award for her teaching accomplishments.
The Archdiocese of Chicago’s Office of Catholic Schools requests nominations each year for candidates in recognition of “outstanding, unique and innovative accomplishments by individual teachers and nonadministrative professional staff members.”
Ethridge, who focuses on social studies and technology, was presented the award last month at St. James Chapel in the Pastoral Center.
Seton Academy is marking its 50th anniversary this year.
