THEFT: An air conditioning compressor was stolen between May 3 and 17 from a vacant house in the 100 block of Elmwood Street.
THEFT: A Chicago Heights woman told police someone stole a fur coat May 4 from her home in the 200 block of Second Drive.
BURGLARY: About $1,000 worth of tools were stolen between May 16 and 18 from a garage in the 300 block of East 25th Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Alexander Stanley, 33, 8029 S. Dobson, Chicago and Amos Humphrey, 55, 1013 Lexington, Ford Heights, were charged with criminal damage to property after fighting on a Pace bus May 17 and breaking a window while the bus was traveling near 14th and State streets, police said.
BURGLARY: A racing wheelchair and a tool kit were stolen May 17 or 18 from a garage in the first block of 25th Street.
BATTERY: Vaneea Goodson, 25, 374 Sauk Trail, Park Forest, was charged with battery after an altercation May 18 at the Olympic Village apartments, police said.
DUI ARREST: Eduardo Mendez, 37, 215 E. 22nd St., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and running a red light after a May 18 stop at 16th and Edgewood Avenue, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: A Chicago Heights man told police his ex-girlfriend broke a window at his home in the 1900 block of Revere Street on May 18, poured bleach on his couch, television and stereo and then fled in his car after the two argued over her borrowing his car.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: A Chicago Heights man told police that a woman he hires for sex threatened to kill him with a gun because he refused to pay her for services on May 18 at his residence in the 400 block of Parnell Avenue. Police were unable to locate the woman.
VAN THEFT: A 2003 Ford Windstar van was stolen May 19 from the parking lot at St. James Hospital, 1423 Chicago Road.
CAR THEFT: A 1981 Chevrolet Corvette was stolen May 19 in the 200 block of Crescent Drive.
CAR THEFT: A 1996 Ford Probe was stolen May 19 in the first block of Broadway.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Wendell Richardson Jr., 34, 498 W. 17th St., #2, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic assault after a May 20 incident at his home, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eduardo Reyes, 19, 104 E. 25th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a disturbance May 22 at his home, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Kakeesha Hall, 37, 1125 Grant Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 22 altercation at her residence, police said.
DUI ARREST: Richard Desch, 46, 2826 Western Ave., E-7, Park Forest, was charged with drunken driving, running a stop sign and no insurance after being stopped May 24 at 13th Street and Ashland Avenue, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Nathan Bryant, 53, 747 Grant Ave., 2A, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 24 incident at his home, police said.
