CHICAGO HEIGHTS

THEFT: A refrigerator, washing machine, dryer and 50 feet of copper pipe was stolen sometime during May from a house in the 1500 block of Thorn Street.

BATTERY: Jonathan Nunn, 50, 624 Andover St., Chicago Heights, was charged with battery after a May 21 incident at his home, police said.

THEFT: Two lawn mowers chained together in the back of a pick-up truck were stolen May 31 in the 1500 block of Thorn Street.

BATTERY: Aleesha Jones, 25, and Ricky Jones, 20, both of 1236 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights, were charged with battery after getting into a fight with a woman June 1 in the first block of 14th Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Governor Giles, 19, 14500 Dobson Ave., Dolton, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a June 1 stop at Halsted Street and Joe Orr Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Patricia Jordan, 24, of Lynwood, was charged with retail theft after stealing $100 worth of steaks June 2 from Ultra Foods, 571 W. 14th St., police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Bryant Heart, 28, 1249 Park Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation June 2 at his residence, police said.

DUI ARREST: Hersey Kenkins, 30, 511 Circle Drive, University Park, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use, making an improper turn, illegal transportation of alcohol and having expired registration after a stop June 4 at 14th Street and Edgewood Avenue, police said.

DUI ARREST: Cory Bishop, 25, of Tampa, Fla., was charged with drunken driving, running a stop sign and driving on a revoked license after he was stopped June 5 at 17th and Halsted streets, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Richard Renz, 46, 515 W. Joe Orr Road, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a June 5 incident at his home, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Brian Sumas, 46, 46 W. Hickory St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a disturbance June 5 at his home, police said.

ARMED ROBBERY: A 23-year-old Chicago Heights man told police a gunman robbed him of his cellphone and more than $1,200 in cash while he was sitting on a porch June 5 in the 200 block of West 14th Place.

DUI ARREST: Jose Flores, 24, of Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving after he was stopped June 6 at 16th Street and Chicago Road, police said.

SHOTGUN FOUND: A Chicago Heights man told police he found a sawed-off shotgun under a pile of garbage while mowing the grass June 6 at Hickory Street and Ashland Avenue.

DUI CHARGE: Lamar Johnson, 58, 1136 Center Court, Homewood, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after a stop June 7 at 15th Street and D’Amico Drive, police said.
