CHICAGO HEIGHTS

COKE CHARGE: Chanel Newcomb, 45, 1529 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of cocaine, running a stop sign and no insurance after a June 8 stop at 16th Place and Aberdeen Street, police said.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Robert Hampton, 22, 60 W. 19th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with criminal damage to property after tearing up hundreds of dollars in women’s clothing during a domestic dispute June 9 at his home, police said.

THEFT: A 78-year-old Chicago Heights man told police someone stole his golf clubs after he briefly left them on his driveway June 10 in the 200 block of Cove Drive.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Brian Fleming, 25, 30 E. 23rd St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a June 11 incident at his home, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Maechelle Johnson, 20, 203 E. 17th St., Apt. 2W, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a disturbance June 11 at his home, police said.

BURGLARY: About $1,000 worth of tools were stolen June 13 or 14 from a garage in the 1300 block of Schilling Avenue.

DUI CHARGE: Shannece Gregory, 24, of Plainfield, was charged with drunken driving, driving without headlights, driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a June 15 stop on 14th Street, police said.

ASSAULT: Andrew Menzie, 48, 571 Minette Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic assault after threatening to kill a family member at his home June 15, police said.

DUI ARREST: Brandon Shaffer, 22, 3326 Green St., Steger, was charged with drunken driving and running a red light after being stopped June 15 at Halsted and 14th streets, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Ellis Henry, 42, 326 Abbott Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation June 15 incident at his home, police said.

VANDALISM: A brick was thrown through the windshield of a car and all its tires were slashed June 16 at the Olympic Village apartments.

DUI CASE: Yesenia Flores, 23, of Joliet, was charged with drunken driving, possession of open alcohol, improper lane use and no insurance after a stop June 17 at Joe Orr Road and State Street, police said.
