Dunigan Custom Woodworking, in business since 2005, recently relocated from Glenwood to Crete.
The move doubled the shop’s size and capabilities.
Dustin Dunigan, owner, said, “Now we can create larger projects for our clients and accommodate more pieces in the shop at the same time.”
The woodworking business has private, corporate and government clients. Dunigan recently assisted Peotone with the restoration of its landmark 1872 windmill, The Rathje Mill.
He also designed and built a map cabinet and mail center for the Homewood Fire Department.
Fire stations are favorite places for Dunigan. He served as a fireman for seven years before retiring for medical reasons.
Woodworking, which had been a hobby, then became a business.
