Crete Woman’s Club continues to seek gardens of all genres for its 2014 garden walk.
Gardens from Crete, Monee, Steger, Park Forest and other nearby towns have been displayed previously.
“We are forever grateful to the gardeners who have generously volunteered their gardens for viewing,” officials said.
“Thanks to the support of our wonderful Crete community and area neighbors, the 23rd annual Crete Woman’s Club A Day in the Country Garden Walk was a success,” officials said.
“Almost 500 walkers toured the beautiful gardens, shopped with vendors at the garden faire and enjoyed our lovely community.
“We are able to continue our philanthropic endeavors to Crete and the surrounding area because of the support this event, the apex of CWC fundraising activities, receives.”
The club will be making garden selections for the 2014 walk soon.
Suggestions of gardens that should be admired can be made to firstname.lastname@example.org or (708) 672-4919.
