CAR BURGLARY: A portable CD player was stolen Sept. 8 or 9 from a car in the 1200 block of Washington Street.
DUI ARREST: Christopher Willette, 33, 60 Ellen Drive, Bloom Township, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, running a stop sign and not wearing a seat belt after a Sept. 9 stop on Union Avenue, police said.
BURGLARY: Jewelry and two video game systems were stolen Sept. 9 from a house in the 300 block of Patricia Drive.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Adrian Johnson, 19, 1217 Park Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a Sept. 9 incident in the 1600 block of Chicago Road, police said.
BURGLARY: $300 cash was stolen Sept. 9 from a house in the 1100 block of Grant Avenue.
CAR BURGLARY: About $1,200 worth of bowling equipment and liquor and credit cards were stolen Sept. 9 or 10 from a car in the 500 block of Winston Lane.
THEFT: A Schererville, Ind., woman told police someone stole her wallet and cellphone while she shopped Sept. 10 at a thrift store in the 2500 block of Chicago Road.
CAR THEFT: A 2007 Chevrolet coupe was stolen Sept. 12 when its owner left it running in the 400 block of West 14th Street.
