BURGLARY: A weed whacker, a trimmer, a leaf blower and approximately $600 in cash was stolen Sept. 16 or 17 from a garage in the 300 block of Ashland Avenue.
HOME BURGLARY: A washer, dryer and copper wire were stolen Sept. 17 from a house in the 300 block of Standish Street.
BURGLARY: A television was stolen and the home was ransacked Sept. 17 in the 1300 block of Orchard Avenue.
ROBBERY: A Chicago Heights man told police two men robbed him of his wallet, iPhone and sunglasses when he was walking Sept. 17 on Beacon Boulevard near Division Street.
BURGLARY: Four small ceramic chimneys and about 13 panels of insulation were stolen Sept. 18 from a garage in the 400 block of West 16th Street.
THEFT: A Chicago Heights man told police a woman he met at a bar stole his wallet after the two returned to his apartment Sept. 18 in the first block of West Main Street.
BB DAMAGE: Four basement windows and two attic windows were shot out with a BB gun Sept. 18 at a home in the 200 block of Morgan Street.
CAR THEFT: A 2001 Ford Taurus was stolen Sept. 18 in the 1600 block of Buena Vista Drive.
BURGLARY: A furnace, hot water heater, air conditioning unit and copper pipe were stolen sometime before Sept. 18 from a vacant house in the 1400 block of Edgewood Avenue.
DUI ARREST: Dwayne Williams, whose age and address were not listed, was charged with drunken driving, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and no insurance after a Sept. 18 stop on Otto Boulevard, police said.
CAR BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen Sept. 19 from a car in the 600 block of Lexington Drive.
BATTERY: A Chicago Heights man told police an unknown homeless man punched him three times in the head during a Sept. 20 argument in the first block of East 24th Street about the victim allegedly losing the offender’s bicycle.
CAR DAMAGED: The driver’s side window of a car was broken Sept. 20 in the 600 block of Sangamon Street.
BURGLARY ATTEMPT: A Chicago Heights woman told police she saw a man attempting to break into her car Sept. 20 in the 700 block of Campbell Avenue, but he fled when she screamed.
BOGUS BILL: The manager at White Castle, 701 W. 14th St., told police someone attempted to pay for food using a counterfeit $50 bill on Sept. 21.
