CHICAGO HEIGHTS

CAR THEFT: A 1998 Lincoln Town Car was stolen Oct. 14 in the 1000 block of Sterling Avenue after a buyer paid $2,500 in counterfeit money to the owner.

DUI ARREST: Danyeil Bowdry, 21, 4221 Clark Drive, Richton Park, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and no insurance after an Oct. 15 stop in the 1500 block of Chicago Road, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Laureld Collins, 27, 11822 S. LaSalle St., Chicago, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 15 incident in a car in the 1100 block of Claude Court, police said.

ASSAULT: Akilya Holmes, 20, 1045 Lexington Circle, Ford Heights, was charged with assault after threatening to attack a woman Oct. 16 while she was exiting a Pace bus with her young child on 16th Street, police said.

DUI CASE: Richard Terra, 40, 509 Emerald Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, running a stop sign and no insurance after he was stopped Oct. 17 at 15th Street and Schilling Avenue, police said..

BURGLARY: A business owner told police someone stole 1,000 rims and tires worth $30,000 on Oct. 17 from his business in the 400 block of East 16th Street.

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions were stolen Oct. 17 from a home in the 70 block of West Main Street.

HOME BURGLARY: A video game system, television and laptop computer were stolen Oct. 17 from a home in the 200 block of Raye Drive.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Arturo Valencia, 22, 582 Yorktown Road, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 18 incident at his home, police said.

TRESPASSING: Albert Flowers, 59, 18 Olympic Village, Chicago Heights, was charged with criminal trespass after refusing to leave a bus stop Oct. 18 at 46 E. 16th St., police said.

BURGLARY: A hot water heater, furnace, water meter and copper piping were stolen Oct. 18 from a vacant house in the 300 block of Serena Drive.

DUI CHARGE: Doran Wallace, 32, 7253 E. Evans Ave., Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol after a stop Oct. 18 in the 1400 block of Chicago Road, police said.

PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen Oct. 19 from a woman’s shopping cart at the Salvation Army, 150 N. Halsted St.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Two windows were shattered and a door was damaged Oct. 19 on a car in the 200 block of Southgate Avenue.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen Oct. 19 from a house in the 1600 block of Oak Street.

DUI ALLEGED: Leticia Fuentes, 25, 1456 S. Main St., Crete, was charged with drunken driving, speeding and running a red light after she was stopped Oct. 19 at Chicago Road and McEldowney Place, police said.

DUI ARREST: Kimberly Barber, 36, 611 E. 194th St., Glenwood, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after an Oct. 20 stop at 14th and Halsted streets, police said.
