Chicago Heights police blotter

CHICAGO HEIGHTS

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Michael Hinton, 30, 1516 Portland Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a Nov. 11 incident at an apartment in the 700 block of Grant Avenue, police said.

TRESPASSING: Jeffrey Burks, 55, 3904 Streamwood, Chicago Heights, was charged with criminal trespass after refusing to leave the Pace bus terminal, 46 E. 16th St., on Nov. 11, police said.

BURGLARY: A leaf blower and a ladder were stolen Nov. 12 from a garage in the 500 block of Gregory Drive.

DUI ARREST: Stephen Dunn, 30, of Schererville, Ind., was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a Nov. 13 stop at 22nd and State streets, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Gerardo Lopez, 45, 1217 Park Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana after running away from police near 15th and Green streets on Nov. 14, police said.

CAR THEFT: A 1999 Chrysler LHS was stolen Nov. 14 from the 1700 block of East End Avenue.

VANDALISM: A concrete block was thrown through a window of a car Nov. 15 in the 1800 block of Chicago Road.

TRESPASSING: Michael Harris, 49, 1458 S. Canal St., Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass after refusing to leave Ultra Foods, 571 W. 14th St., on Nov. 15.

HOME BURGLARY: Three televisions, a laptop computer, a video game system and a cellphone were stolen Nov. 15 from a house in the 200 block of West 15th Street.

DUI CHARGE: Alan Williams, 38, 759 Burr Oak Lane, University Park, was charged with drunken driving, driving without headlights and improper lane use after a Nov. 15 stop at 14th Street and Scott Avenue, police said.

BURGLARY: A stove and refrigerator were stolen Nov. 16 from an abandoned house in the 1400 block of Wallace Street.
