Updated: March 13, 2014 2:16PM

Marian Catholic High School’s 12th annual Marian Madness NCAA Tournament celebration will be held April 5 in the Sister M. Paul McCaughey Leadership Center, according to a press release from the school, 700 Ashland Ave., Chicago Heights.

The event will feature the Men’s NCAA Final Four contests broadcast live on four 60-inch plasma screens and a 12-foot-by-12-foot mega screen. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., and the event is for those age 21 and older.

The $30 ticket price includes a buffet catered by Aurelio’s of Homewood, including beverages and desserts. The event also will feature a raffle with a $3,000 cash grand prize, games of chance and several silent auction packages, the release said.

“Marian Madness is a great opportunity for old friends and new to get together and enjoy an affordable evening out, in a familiar place,” Class of 1981 alum James Schreiber said in the release. “The Leadership Center provides an exciting environment to watch the games. Supporting Marian’s mission by attending this fun event is also a big plus.”

Marian Madness is cosponsored by Marian athletics and the MCHS Alumni Association.
