BACinema to feature ‘I Wish’

Beverly Arts Center’s weekly film series continues at 7:30 p.m. June 27 with “I Wish” at 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
Directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, the movie stars Koki Maeda, Ohshiro Maeda and Ryoga Hayashi.
With help from the adults around him, 12-year-old Koichi sets out on a journey with a group of friends, each hoping to witness a miracle that will improve their difficult lives.
Rated PG for mild thematic elements, language and smoking, the Japanese drama runs for 2 hours and 8 minutes.
Tickets are $7.50, or $5.50 for center members.
