Arts center to offer  papermaking workshop

Artist Marilyn VandenBout, of Evergreen Park, will offer a papermaking workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and again on Aug. 1 at the Log Cabin Center for the Arts, 12700 Southwest Highway, Palos Park.

VandenBout will cook plants from the center’s garden and help students to create handmade papers.

The class costs $26 plus a $10 materials fee per person. Registration is required in advance.
