As part of its Prairie State Achievement Exam incentive program, Evergreen Park Community High School recently awarded free reserved parking spots to four seniors who met or exceeded their expected scores last April.
Principal William Sanderson awarded the parking spaces to students Tina Hutchinson, Colleen Burns, Andrew Piet and Kyle Venhuizen during the first senior advisory meeting of the 2012-13 school year.
Sanderson also awarded Colleen Kaufmann and Christina Silva free prom packages; and Anthony Betts and Moira Wood extra graduation tickets.
The incentives are part of a program to encourage students during their junior year to meet or exceed their predicted scores on the PSAE two-day state exam. Students receive a raffle ticket for each area they meet or exceed.
