Here is a look at top events you won’t want to miss.
Suggestions include the BACinema screening of “Somewhere Between” at the Beverly Arts Center in Chicago and free admission at some Chicago museums.
These Chicago museums are offering free admission to Illinois residents:
Adler Planetarium, 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, (312) 922-7827, from Jan. 28-31.
The Art Institute of Chicago, 111 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, (312) 443-3600, every weekday to Feb. 13.
The Field Museum, 1400 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, (312) 922-9410, on Jan. 28 and 30.
Museum of Science and Industry, 57th Street and Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, (773) 684-1414, on Jan. 24-25 and 28-31.
Shedd Aquarium, 1200 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, (312) 939-2438, on Jan. 28-29.
This BACinema screening is at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30 at Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
Tickets are $7.50, or $5.50 for center members.

Jan. 25’s Weekend magazine will include a preview of “Braid Tales” at the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University.
