Evergreen Park High SchoolÕs Athletic Leadership Council members visited Great America recently.

This year, Evergreen Park Community High School has formed a new club called the Athletic Leadership Council. This club is composed of two athletes from every sport offered at EPCHS. These students are leaders both in the classroom and on the field.
The group meets once a month to discuss issues facing both the IHSA and EPCHS. The goal of the club is to help create positive leaders in all programs and to help form future leaders in society.
Athletic Leadership Council members this year include Leeza Campbell, Maggie O’Toole, Anthony Betts and Anthony Briante for cross country, Jon Karstrand and Brandon White for football and Alex Engraffia and Aaron Green-VanZee for golf.
Other members include Colleen Burns and Meghan Kress for volleyball, Omar Alvarez and Tobi Oladejo for boys soccer and Britney Anderson and Stephanie Townsend for girls swimming.
Also on the council are Rachael Patrick and Anna Rizzo for cheerleading, Morgan Murphy and Isaac Matthews for boys basketball and Megan Beckow and Megan Pfister for girls basketball.
Emily Blankenship and Sarah Klawitter are the council members for bowling, Keith Ritter and Chris O’Grady for boys swimming, and Curtis Adams and John Measner for wrestling.
The council also includes Kyle VenHuizen and Mark Martin for baseball, Molly Moran and Kelly Shine for girls soccer, Sophie Lamb and Jenna Haase for softball, Paul Romano and Mike Ruhl for boys track, Rachel Koronkiewicz and Jordan Annang for girls track, and Emily Diamond and Amanda Ramirez for dance team.
