Alex Majewski, of Brother Rice, is the Beggars Pizza/SouthtownStar Boys Basketball Player of the Week.
Majewski, a 6-foot-6 senior forward, scored a team-high 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds during a 64-58 win over Providence. He also scored a team-high 18 points during a loss to St. Rita. For the season, he’s averaging 21 points and 8 rebounds per game.
