Evergreen Park Community High School District 231 has a policy that calls for maintaining a safe, drug-free educational environment.
To that end, the school administration and local law enforcement officials on Oct. 1 conducted a random drug search throughout the school’s campus, using drug-sniffing dogs.
“This is a proactive attempt to maintain a drug-free atmosphere for the entire educational community,” Supt. Beth Hart said in a press release.
