The Sisters of Little Company of Mary will host a Morning of Spiritual Reflection from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at the LCM Mary Potter Physicians’ Pavilion, in the medical center’s lower-level meeting rooms at 2850 W. 95th St., Evergreen Park.
Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m.
The Rev. John Merkelis will make his seventh return presentation at Little Company of Mary Hospital. Merkelis is an Augustinian priest, the pastoral director at Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox and assists with weekly Mass at St. Bernard Parish in Homer Glen.
Merkelis will help participants prepare spiritually for the Christmas season, according to a news release about the presentation, which is free. Merkelis’ presentation has been called a “truly dynamic experience,” the release said.
Donations of small winter-wear items such as mittens, stocking caps and warm socks will be accepted and donated to a local homeless shelter for families in need.
To register, contact Suzanne Petrouski at (708) 229-5095 or Marianne Kraft at (708) 229-5437.
