The Evergreen Park Public Library is looking for volunteers to share their time, talents or hobbies.
Volunteering provides an opportunity to enrich the quality of life in the community, according to a press release from the library. Volunteers can fill a gap while they are between jobs, enhance personal growth, earn service hours, have fun and meet new people, the release said.
Adult and teen volunteers perform a variety of tasks so that more resources can be directed toward library materials, services and programs. The only requirements are a positive attitude and a willingness to give back to the community, according to the library, which is at 9400 S. Troy Ave.
