Area chambers hold after-hours event

The Oak Forest-Crestwood, Oak Lawn, Orland Park Area and Tinley Park chambers of commerce will take part in a Mardi Gras-style business after hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at Together We Cope, 17010 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park.

The event is sponsored by Together We Cope and BMO Harris Bank. There will be refreshments, door prizes and tours of Together We Cope’s facilities.

Business awards breakfast Feb. 15

The South Suburban Small Business Association will hold its 10th annual Summit Awards breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 15 at Idlewild Country Club, 19201 Dixie Highway, Flossmoor.

During the event the association will present awards including small business of the year, economic development leader of the year and young entrepreneur of the year.
