Providence Bank names executives

Providence Bank said it has named Anthony Carollo as vice president of commercial services and Richard Schultz to the position of assistant vice president of consumer lending. Both will work from Providence’s Frankfort location.
Carollo, an Orland Park resident, was most recently with Great Lakes Bank while Schultz, of New Lenox, was previously with HomeStar Bank & Financial Services. Providence said that Carollo has more than 40 years of experience in commercial banking, while Schultz has 20 years of retail lending experience.
Carollo is a member of the Orland Park Rotary Club and Schultz is a volunteer soccer coach for the New Lenox Park District, Providence said.
Headquartered in South Holland, Providence has seven locations in the Chicago area and northwest Indiana. Founded in 2004, Providence has $382 million in assets.
Pete Mitchell’s gets OK for longer hours
The Frankfort Village Board has given approval to the new owners of Pete Mitchell’s Bar and Grill to extend the restaurant and bar’s hours of operations. The business, 21000 S. Frankfort Square Road, will be allowed to stay open until 1 a.m. daily.
