First Midwest Bank sponsors seminars

First Midwest Bank and CenterPoint, the small-business development center at Governors State University, will host free seminars focusing on the personal, financial and legal aspects of starting a business.
The first will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at First Midwest’s Country Club Hills location, 4101 W. 183rd., and the second will be held at the same time on Feb. 23 at the bank’s Alsip branch, 11900 S. Lockport, Lipinski hosting job fair
Lockport and U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-3rd) will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Lockport Township High School, 1333 E. 7th St.

Business expo March 31 in Manhattan
The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Business Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 31 at Wilson Creek School, 25440 S. Gougar Road, Manhattan.
