NEW LENOX

LAPTOP STOLEN: A laptop computer was stolen May 13 from a business in the 400 block of DeGroate Road.

BOGUS BILLS: Someone paid for merchandise May 15 with counterfeit $20 bills at Walgreens in the 400 block of Nelson Road.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Frank Stangel, 29, 1222 Timber Place, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop May 16 at Cedar and Laraway roads, police said.

PIT PILFERED: A fire pit was stolen May 16 from a back yard in the 2900 block of Sheffield Drive.

DOOR DAMAGED: Deborah Roberts, 48, of Manhattan, was charged with criminal damage to property after she damaged a front door May 16 in the 100 block of First Street, police said.

TRAILER DAMAGED: A trailer was damaged May 16 in the 1000 block of Shagbark Court.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Carlos Reyes, 24, 15704 Lowe, Harvey, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped May 17 at Gougar and Laraway roads, police said.

MAILBOX DAMAGED: A mailbox was damaged May 19 in the 1700 block of Coventry Road.

POLE DAMAGED: A flag pole was damaged May 19 in the 700 block of Wildwood Drive.

VANDALISM: A fence along the pier was damaged May 19 in Hibernia Park.

WARRANT ARREST: Alvin Cruz, 38, 1863 Edmonds Ave., New Lenox, was arrested on a Lake County, Ill., warrant after police responded to a dispute at his residence, police said.

MAILBOX THEFT: A mailbox was stolen May 20 in the 1100 block of Elm Street.

GRAFFITI: Graffiti was spray painted on a fence May 20 in the 2900 block of Joela.

BIKE THEFT: A bicycle was stolen from a porch May 21 in the 600 block of South Cooper Street.

VANDALISM: Blacktop sealer was smeared on a vehicle May 21 in the 1200 block of Town Crest Drive.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Daniel Deinema, 25, 413 Boeing Drive, New Lenox, was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly created a disturbance in a restaurant in the 300 block of West U.S. 30, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Bryan Nolan, 46, 1325 Newbridge, Lockport, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a May 23 stop at Illinois Highway and Wisconsin Road, police said.

VEHICLE DAMAGED: A vehicle was damaged May 24 in the 400 block of South Marley Road.

WILL COUNTY

TOOLS STOLEN: A snowplow blade, two backpack leaf blowers and a trimmer were stolen May 14 from a landscape business in the 100 block of Ford Drive, New Lenox Township.

TRUCK THEFT: A Chevrolet pickup truck with an attached trailer was stolen May 16 from a lawn service company in the 11800 block of Stephanie Lane, Frankfort Township. It recovered the following day in Gary.

POOL DAMAGED: A pool liner was punctured with holes May 18 in the 19000 block of Skye Drive, Frankfort Township.

BENCH TAKEN: A cast iron and wooden bench was stolen from the front yard of a home May 18 in the 24000 block of 88th Avenue, Frankfort Township.

CRASH CHARGE: Daniel A. Siemsen, 18, of Monee, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after he lost control of his vehicle, went into a ditch and became airborne, with the vehicle landing on its roof May 19 at 104th Avenue and Steger Road, Frankfort Township, police said. Siemsen told police he was attempting to avoid a collision with a deer.
