FRANKFORT
PROPERTY DAMAGE: A subdivision sign was damaged June 28 at Flagstone and Scheer roads.
VANDALISM: Two mailboxes were damaged June 19 in the 11800 block of Coquille Drive.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Items were stolen June 29 from an unlocked vehicle in a driveway in the 10900 block of Swallow Tail Lane.
DUI ARREST: Gerardo Aguado, 21, of Joliet, was charged with drunken driving, obstructing traffic, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol after a June 30 stop at LaGrange and Laraway roads, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Items were stolen June 30 from an unlocked vehicle in a driveway in the 10900 block of Nebraska Street.
BATTERY: Kevin Schaffrath, 23, 10814 S. 76th Court, Worth, was charged with battery and retail theft June 30 in the 19900 block of LaGrange Road, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Timothy Mercede, 24, 193 Pottawatomie Lane, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of marijuana and no insurance and was arrested on a Will County warrant after a stop July 1 in the 9300 block of U.S. 30, police said.
MOKENA
DUI ARREST: Stanley Strzemp, 48, 20056 Graceland Lane, Frankfort, was charged with drunken driving, hit-and-run, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after rear-ending another car June 29 at Wolf Road and U.S. 30, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Russell Rottmann, 25, 9016 Liscanor Ave., Mokena, was charged with domestic battery after a July 3 incident at his home, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: A resident of the 19200 block of Fairmont Lane told police someone destroyed her mailbox by lighting fireworks inside it on July 4. Another resident in the 19400 block of Yorkshire Drive also reported that something exploded inside her mailbox the same night.
HOME BURGLARY: Someone broke a patio door and stole a television and possibly some jewelry July 6 or 7 from a home in the 19500 block of Regent Drive.
BURGLARY: A bank bag containing $110 was stolen July 9 from Southwest Pediatrics, 9400 Bormet Drive.
