Frankfort, Mokena police blotter

FRANKFORT

POT POSSESSION: Jonathan Spurgeon, 33, 2539 W. Altgeld, Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana and running a stop sign after a stop Nov. 15 at Old Frankfort Way and White Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Karen Gasser, 51, 2527 York St., Blue Island, was charged with driving on a suspended license and illegal transportation of alcohol after a Nov. 20 stop in the 9500 block of U.S. 30, police said.

TRUCK THEFT: A 2001 Ford F-250 pickup truck was stolen Nov. 24 from a business parking lot in the 19900 block of LaGrnge Road.

DUI ARREST: Colton Donovan, 21, 2800 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident, driving on the wrong side of the road and no insurance after a Nov. 24 accident in the 22300 block of Merriton Road, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Kevin M. Johnson, 28, of Wilmington, was charged with drunken driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a crash Nov. 24 at U.S. 30 and Wolf Road, police said.

MOKENA

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Joshua Cerrone, 21, 10727 Green Meadows Drive, Mokena, was charged with domestic battery after a Nov. 17 incident at his home, police said. They said Dawn Panost, 62, 13933 Laramie Ave., Crestwood, also was charged with domestic battery.

BOND VIOLATION: John Rodzak, 54, 10140 Cromwell Court, Mokena, was charged with violation of bail bond Nov. 24 at his home, following an earlier arrest for domestic battery, police said.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Deborah Raines, 48, 19633 Cambridge Drive, Mokena, was charged with criminal damage to property after hitting a car with a baseball bat during a Nov. 25 incident at her home, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Nicholas Blake, 19, 19247 Wolf Road, Mokena, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment after a Nov. 25 stop at Revere and Wolf roads, police said.

DUI ARREST: Sean King, 29, 19317 Everett Lane, Mokena, was charged with drunken driving, hit and run and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after rear-ending a car Nov. 26 at 191st Street and LaGrange Road and fleeing the scene, police said.

THEFT: A video game system and $200 cash were stolen between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2 from a house in the 19500 block of 115th Avenue.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Kirk Newton, 40, 14908 Avenida Del Este, Orland Park, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 2 incident in the 9400 block of 191st Street, police said.
