Here is a look at upcoming concerts including the Siegal-Schwall Band at the Beverly Arts Center in Chicago and the Craft Beer & Wine Festival at Blarney Stone Pub in Oak Forest.
The Siegel-Schwall Band
Corky Siegel on harmonica and Jim Schwall on guitar will put a blues spin on the holidays when the legendary Siegel-Schwall Band performs A Blues Christmas at 8 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
“Along with the first wave of British Invasion bands like the Rolling Stones and John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers and stateside groups like the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, the Siegel-Schwall Band were instrumental in the great blues revival of the 1960s,” officials said.
The Chicago-based Siegel-Schwall Band was the house band at the famed Pepper’s Lounge and began its career backing greats like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter and Willie Dixon.
Tickets are $31 at (773) 445-3838 and beverlyartcenter.org.
