The Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 Foundation for Educational Excellence recently welcomed local attorney Joe Kosteck, of Frankfort, to the foundation board of directors.
Kosteck became one of the first 2013 Partners of the Foundation. He joins 31 other businesses and individuals who are foundation partners.
This annual giving program provides an opportunity for donors to make a one-time annual gift to the foundation and receive a package of exclusive benefits in return.
“We are impressed with the commitment Joe has for Lincoln-Way and are delighted to welcome him not only as a new foundation director but also as one of our first new 2013 partners,” foundation director and partner program co-chair Paul Slade said. “Joe is a great example of a business owner in the community who makes the connection between strong schools and a thriving business community. His desire to give back to Lincoln-Way is evidenced by his generous support.”
Kosteck is a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central, Class of 1990.
“I received a great education at Lincoln-Way,” Kosteck said. “I attribute my success today to the solid educational foundation provided by Lincoln-Way. I consider myself fortunate to be able to give back to the school district that made such a difference in my life.”
The foundation has donated more than $3 million to the district since its inception in 1994.
