Lincoln-Way treats senior citizens to spring musicals

Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 invites senior citizens to attend complimentary performances of the spring musicals at all four of the district’s high schools.
Each performance will debut in April.
Lincoln-Way Central, 1801 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox, will present the classic music of Cole Porter in “Anything Goes” at 4 p.m. April 23. Guests should enter at door 7A.
Lincoln-Way East, 201 Colorado Ave., Frankfort, will present “Legally Blonde the Musical,” based on the hit movie of the same name at 4:30 p.m. April 17. Guests should enter at door 40.
Lincoln-Way North, 19900 S. Harlem Ave., Frankfort, will present Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 4:30 p.m. April 16. Guests should enter at door 46.
Lincoln-Way West, 21701 S. Gougar Road, New Lenox, will present the musical “Seussical,” based on the collective works of Dr. Seuss, at 5 p.m. April 17. Guests should enter at door 49.
“Bringing these characters to life has been such a blast for the entire ensemble,” said Tom Venutolo, the choral director at Lincoln-Way West. “Every cast member is very enthusiastic about this production and is working hard to make it the best West musical we have done.”
Community performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. April 25 to 27 at Lincoln-Way Central; 7 p.m. April 18 to 20 at Lincoln-Way East; 7 p.m. April 18 to 20 at Lincoln-Way North; and 7 p.m. April 18 to 20 at Lincoln-Way West.
Tickets are $10 each and may be bought at the door.
No tickets are required for the complimentary senior citizen performances.
