Reinforcing Chelsea Intermediate School’s Awesome Year Challenge theme, students recently participated in a Follow the Leader school assembly.
The event was sponsored by the Family School Partnership organization.
Chelsea Assistant Principal Dan Prorok stated, “I think the assembly went along great with our theme for the year.
“It asked the students how they could make the year great for someone else and encouraged them to help people stand up for themselves and others.”
During the assembly at the Frankfort school, students learned that one out of 10 people are bullies, one out of 10 are victims and eight out of 10 are part of the caring majority.
Students were encouraged to be leaders and help bullies and victims by following the ABC’s:
♦Believe in yourself.
