NEW LENOX

THEFT: A generator was stolen Nov. 25 from a house under construction in the 200 block of Alta Vista.

THEFT: An inoperable forklift that was stored outside was stolen Nov. 26 from a business in the 400 block of DeGroate Road.

NO LICENSE: Derek Joniak. 19, 1035 Yamma Ridge, New Lenox, was charged with driving without a valid license after a stop Nov. 27 in the 1800 block of West U.S. 30, police said.

DUI ARREST: Emmanuel Credo, 63, 116 Oriole Road, Matteson, was charged with drunken driving and disobeying a traffic signal after being stopped Nov. 28 at U.S. 30 and Interstate 80, police said.

VANDALISM: Tires were slashed Nov. 28 on a vehicle in a driveway in the 900 block of White Lane.

NO LICENSE: John Buckley, 32, 17604 Oakwood Drive, Hazel Crest, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and improper lighting after a Nov. 29 stop at Maple Drive and Oak Street, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Tawny Casalino, 26, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after she stole goods Nov. 30 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Manuel Hernandez, 26, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after stole items Nov. 30 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Jose DeJesus Garcia, 27, 12308 Springfield, Alsip, was charged with drunken driving and no insurance after he was stopped Dec. 1 at Gougar Road and Maple Street, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Rogelio Camacho, 32, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after he stole merchandise Dec. 1 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

VANDALISM: A concrete statue was damaged Dec. 1 in the 700 block of West Joliet Highway.

FIELD DAMAGED: The football field at Martino Junior High School was damaged Dec. 2 after someone drove over it in the 700 block of East Joliet Highway.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Robert DiBenedetto, 29, 931 Ogden Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Dec. 3 in the 100 block of Cooper Road, police said.

DUI ARREST: Michael Reinke, 31, of Manhattan, was charged with drunken driving and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a crash Dec. 3 at Cedar and Laraway roads, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Lindsay Tomazin, 27, 11608 Roberts St., Mokena, was charged with driving on a suspended license Dec. 3 after a stop in the 800 block of Spencer Road, police said.

VANDALISM: Tyler Tsokatos, 19, 195 Otto Drive, New Lenox, was charged with criminal damage to property after he damaged Christmas decorations Dec. 3 in the 1100 block of Patriot Drive, police said.

PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen Dec. 4 from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot at Tom Kelly’s restaurant in the 400 block of DeGroate Road.

COKE CHARGE: David Albergo, 49, 21360 S. 79th Ave., Frankfort Township, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell it and possession of drug equipment after an investigation led New Lenox police to search his home Dec. 4, police said.

DUI ALLEGED: Jeffrey Patchett, 54, 30 Cornwell, Crete, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a revoked license, speeding and disobeying a traffic signal after a Dec. 7 stop at Laraway and Nelson roads, police said.

DUI CASE: Angelica Medina, 30, of Joliet, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after she was stopped Dec. 8 at Interstate 80 and U.S. 30, police said.

WILL COUNTY

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ulises Martin, 36, 2814 N. Kedzie Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Nov. 26 at U.S. 30 and Hackberry Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Nisha Brown, 31, 6928 S. Rockwell, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license Nov. 27 after a stop at 191st Street and LaGrange Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Kijuan Cosey, 25, 14047 Lincoln, Dolton, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having a defective windshield after being stopped Nov. 27 at 187th Street and Wolf Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Julie Bertalmio, 32, of Gary, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug equipment, driving on a suspended license and speeding after a Nov. 29 stop at Harlem Avenue and Interstate 80, Frankfort Township, police said.

SCROOGE STRIKES: About $15,000 worth of Christmas decorations was stolen Nov. 30 from a shed in the 10000 block of Stuenkel Road in Green Garden Township.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Christina Leary, 26, 6718 174th Place, Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license after she was stopped Dec. 3 at 195th Street and Harlem Avenue, Frankfort Township, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Nick E. Connolly, 26, 19522 Beechnut Drive, Frankfort Township, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment, and David Salup, 38, of the same address, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug equipment after police searched their home, police said.

THEFT: About 250 feet of electrical wire and several smaller sections of wire were stolen Dec. 6 from Meade Electric trucks at the BP property in the 18400 block of Wolf Road in Frankfort Township.
