NEW LENOX

IDENTITY THEFT: Identity theft was reported Jan. 24 in the 2400 block of Cattlemen Drive when an unknown person used personal information to open a fraudulent business account. The victim discovered it when contacted by the Internal Revenue Service for back taxes.

SHOPLIFTING: Sharon Hudson, 49, 2118 Digby Drive, New Lenox, was charged with retail theft after she stole goods Jan. 26 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Corbin Moffett, 23, of Joliet, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving with only one headlight after a stop Jan. 29 in the 400 block of Nelson Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Alan Castaneda, 35, 2705 Foxwood Drive, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Jan. 30 at Tower Lane and Laraway Road, police said.

DUI ARREST: Edward Butkus, 22, 14509 S. 85th Ave., Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and drug equipment and driving without headlights Jan. 31 after a stop in the 800 block of West U.S. 30, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Sherry Holmes, 46, 1019 Schoolgate Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a stop Jan. 31 at Constitution and Schoolhouse roads, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Christine Delgado, 44, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after she stole merchandise Jan. 31 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Joseph Torpy, 25, 876 Spinnaker Drive, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug equipment and disobeying a traffic signal after he was stopped Feb. 2 at Prairie Road and Haven Avenue, police said.

BURGLARY: Cash was stolen during a Feb. 2 burglary at a dry cleaner in the 400 block of Nelson Road.

WILL COUNTY

CAR THEFT: A 2010 Mercury Sable was stolen sometime between Dec. 10 and Jan. 24 from the parking lot at Mokena Automotive, 11129 W. 189th Place, Frankfort Township.

HOME BURGLARY: Electrical tools, prescription medication and cash were stolen Jan. 10 from a home in the 7900 block of West U.S. 30 in Frankfort Township.

BATTERY: Robert Sulzberger III, 32, 7937 West U.S. 30, Frankfort, was charged with battery, criminal damage to property, resisting police and criminal trespass and was arrested on a Will County warrant after a disturbance Jan. 10 at the Aqua Lounge, 7900 West U.S. 30 in Frankfort Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Omar Muhammad, 38, 350 W. 107th St., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having expired registration and no insurance after a stop Jan. 14 at 191st Street and LaGrange Road in Frankfort Township, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Steven Sondergaard, 25, 4422 W. 79th Place, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a Jan. 15 stop at U.S. 30 and Wolf Road in Frankfort Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jacob Burrow, 20, of Romeoville, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Jan. 19 at U.S. 30 and Schoolhouse Road in New Lenox Township, police said..

BURGLARY: A wheelchair was stolen Jan. 22 from the garage of a residence in the 8300 block of Auburn Lane, Frankfort Township.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, a video game system, eight video games, a computer tablet and jewelry were stolen Jan. 22 from a house in the 19000 block of Frankfort Square Road, Frankfort Square.

HOME BURGLARY: An iPod, jewelry and cash were stolen Jan. 22 from a house in the 7800 block of Wheatfield Drive, Frankfort Square.

POT POSSESSION: Jason Ehler, 31, 17626 Gilbert Drive, Lockport, was charged with possession of marijuana and speeding after a Jan. 24 stop at 187th Street and Haley Road, Frankfort Township.
