DUI CHARGE: Kevin Kwiecinski, 25, 2768 Martin Court, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his vehicle struck a utility pole Jan. 31 at Independence and Nelson roads, police said.
WARRANT ARREST: Daniel Zawadka, 32, of Joliet, was arrested on a Will County warrant after police responded to a call Feb. 3 from a currency exchange in the 300 block of West U.S. 30, where he attempted to cash a check that had been electronically deposited, police said. They said the currency exchange did not pursue charges after it got its money back.
WARRANT ARREST: Kevin Blanchette, 20, 22216 Heritage, Frankfort, turned himself in to police who had a warrant for his arrest on Feb. 4 at the police station in the 700 block of Haven Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: William Talbot, 32, 236 Northgate Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Feb. 4 at Maple and Cedar roads, police said.
TRUCK THEFT: A 1994 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen after the owner left it running and unlocked Feb. 5 at a gas station in the 800 block of U.S. 30.
RETAIL THEFT: Nancy Lowery, 63, 1806 Illini Drive, New Lenox, was charged with retail theft after she stole merchandise Feb. 5 from Walgreens in the 400 block of Nelson Road, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Meghan Fritz, 23, 306 Sunset Trail, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license after she was stopped Feb. 6 in the 1800 block of U.S. 30, police said.
WALLET STOLEN: A wallet was stolen from a purse Feb. 7 in the 500 block of East U.S. 30.
DUI ARREST: Nicholas Golich, 25, 1010 Grandview Drive, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving, reckless driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and possession of drug equipment after the vehicle he was driving rolled over Feb. 8 in the 1600 block of Nelson Road, police said.
REVOKED LICENSE: Faviola Martinez, 27, of Joliet, was charged with driving on a revoked license after being stopped Feb. 8 at Washington and Cass streets, police said.
DUI CASE: Brian Miller, 38, 918 Foxwood Drive, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and reckless driving after the vehicle he was driving ended up in a snow bank Feb. 9 in the 900 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Amber Majewski, 23, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding and no insurance after a stop Feb. 9 at Interstate 80 and U.S. 30, police said.
DUI ALLEGED: Tyler Richards, 20, 732 Vanderbilt Drive, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and drug equipment and illegal use of a cellphone while driving after a stop Feb. 9 at Laraway and Schoolhouse roads, police said.
