New Lenox, Will County police blotter

NEW LENOX

DUI ARREST: Eric Stowe, 37, of Kankakee, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a stop March 19 in the 600 block of East U.S. 30, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Michael Davies, 30, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass after he used discarded receipts, removed items from Wal-Mart that matched items on the receipts and attempted to return them for cash March 19 at the store in the 500 block of U.S. 30, police said. They said Davies had been banned from Wal-Mart due to a previous arrest.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Kevin Nolan, 52, 925 Spencer Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after he was stopped March 19 at U.S. 30 and Joliet Highway, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A stereo faceplate was stolen from a vehicle March 19 in a parking lot in the 2300 block of East U.S. 30.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Joseph Ouellette, 35, 220 Thornton, Lockport, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a March 20 stop at U.S. 30 and Vine Street, police said.

WILL COUNTY

BURGLARY: A safe with cash inside was stolen March 11 from New Lenox Food & Liquor, 13410 W. Maple Road, Frankfort Township. The glass front door was smashed to gain entry.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Steven Perez, 30, 1009 Shagbark Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license, improper lane use and unauthorized lighting on a vehicle after a stop March 14 at Cornell Drive and Schoolhouse Road, New Lenox Township, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Antonio Lloyd, 30, of Hammond, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not placing a child in a restraint seat after a March 15 stop at Interstate 80 and LaGrange Road, Frankfort Township, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Derek A. Campbell, 19, 4125 W. 204th St., Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having a defective windshield and no insurance after being stopped March 15 at 191st Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Gregorio Hernandez-Garcia, 28, 547 Moorfield Road, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after he was stopped March 15 at 93rd Avenue and U.S. 30 in Frankfort Township, police said.

VANDALISM: A window was broken March 16 at Sweet Dreams Cakes, 7956 W. U.S. 30, Frankfort Township. No entry was made to the store.
