State treasurer to visit
Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford will visit the village on Tuesday to meet with village officials and the public.
Mayor Jim Holland said Rutherford will be at the village hall conference room at 11:30 a.m., giving village leaders an update on the state budget and legislative issues.
Holland said the state’s use of the income tax increase and how state leaders are working to improve Illinois’ financial condition are probable topics.
“Those are the kinds of questions I will be asking,” he said.
