Dixon completes military training

Air Force Airman Carlynn L. Dixon graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Dixon is the cousin of Lowery Latrice, of Calumet City, and the daughter of Harris Robert, of Chicago. She is a 2010 graduate of Dunbar Vocational Career Academy High School in Chicago.

Metzger completes basic training

Marine Corps Pfc. Emily M. Metzger recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, S.C.

In addition to a physical conditioning program, Metzger spent numerous hours in the classroom and on field assignments.

Metzger is the daughter of Ann Metzger, of New Lenox.

Kristina graduates basic training

Air Force Reserve Airman Geana Kristina graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Kristina is the daughter of Michelle Kristina, of Sauk Village. She is a 2010 graduate of
Raytown High School in Missouri.
