Piazzolla completes basic training

Navy Seaman Recruit Mario A. Piazzolla recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.

Piazzolla is the son of Carmela and Michael Piazzolla, of Orland Park. He is a 2010 graduate of Sandburg High School.

Petzel completes basic training

Army Pvt. Walter A. Petzel has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla.

Petzel is the son of Susan Petzel, of Alsip, and Arthur Petzel Jr., of New Lenox. He is a 2011 graduate of Shepard High School in Palos Heights.

Blayney graduates basic training

Navy Seaman Recruit Conner M. Blayney recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.

Blayney is the son of Olivia and William Blayney, of Mokena. He is a 2011 graduate of Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort.

Ray graduates basic military training

Air Force Airman Kyle D. Ray graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Ray is the son of Timothy Ray, of Monee, and Dawn Ray, of Steger. He is a 2006 graduate of Crete Monee High School, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Illinois State University in Normal.
