FLOSSMOOR
HOME BURGLARY: Shaun Spells, 19, 1641 Lawrence Crescent, Flossmoor, and Ryan Wakefield, 18, 9 Hawthorn St., Park Forest, were charged with residential burglary after stealing four televisions, an Xbox game system, a tablet computer, shoes and other items Feb. 3 from a house in the 1600 block of Lawrence Crescent, police said.
DUI ARREST: Thomas J. Slayton, 31, 1715 Heather Hill Crescent, Flossmoor, was charged with drunken driving and running a stop sign after a Feb. 5 stop in the 2800 block of Flossmoor Road, police said.
STOLEN COPPER: Copper pipes were discovered stolen Feb. 8 from a house in the 3800 block of 188th Street.
RUSE BURGLARY: Cash was stolen Feb. 8 by three men who distracted a home’s residents with a story about a neighbor’s fence in the 2000 block of Collett Lane.
DAMAGED DOOR: An entry door was damaged Feb. 9 at a house in the 3000 block of Kathleen Lane.
HOMEWOOD
POT POSSESSION: Rashaun Mitchell, 30, 16205 Winchester, Markham, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol and no rear license plate light after a Feb. 5 stop at Kedzie Avenue and Hawthorne Lane, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Two landscape lights were discovered smashed Feb. 5 in a yard in the 1900 block of Birch Road.
EMPLOYEE THEFT: Karen Miller, 23, 502 Longwood Drive, Glenwood, was charged with theft Feb. 6 after she stole $695 over the course of a month while working at Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry was stolen Feb. 7 from a house in the 2300 block of Hawthorne Road.
VEHICLE THEFT: A vehicle was stolen Feb. 7 or 8 from a lot in the 800 block of Elder Road.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Asala Rampage, 46, 1549 183rd St., Homewood, was charged with domestic battery after a Feb. 8 altercation in a vehicle at 183rd Street and Governors Highway, police said.
STOLEN VEHICLE: A rental vehicle was stolen Feb. 8 in the 18300 block of Kedzie Avenue.
THEFT: Two gargoyle statues were stolen Feb. 9 from a front lawn in the 18400 block of Morris Avenue.
GARAGE BURGLARY: A bicycle was stolen Feb. 9 from a garage in the 1400 block of Idlewild Lane.
