Library Closures: Libraries will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.

Parade: The annual Homewood Memorial Day Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Chestnut Road and Dixie Highway. The parade will travel south on Dixie to Olive Road, and then west to Harwood Avenue before stopping at Veterans Park for a ceremony to honor fallen servicemen and women. Memorial Day Observance: Country Club Hills will host a Memorial Day observance at 11 a.m. Monday at city hall, 4200 W. 183rd St.
