BASEBALL

BASKETBALL
Chicago Heights: Prairie State College women’s basketball coach Jeff Boyd will host a basketball camp for boys and girls in grades five to eight from 8 to 10 a.m. June 25 to 29 at St. James Health and Wellness Institute, 100 W. 197th Place, Chicago Heights. Country Club Hills: Hillcrest High School and coach John Maniatis will host a basketball camp for girls in grades six to 12 from June 11 to July 12. Flossmoor: The H-F Racquet and Fitness Club is offering basketball lessons for boys and girls ages 7 to 16. Classes are 30 minutes each and are offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Three sessions will be held: session one from June 11 to 20, session two from July 9 to 18 and session three from July 30 to Aug. 8. Fee: $60. Information: (708) 799-1323.
South Holland: South Suburban College will host its championship basketball camps from June 18 to 28, with a shooting camp from 1 to 4 p.m. June 18 to 21 and a skills camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25 to 28. The camps are for boys and girls ages 7 to 17. Fees: $55 for shooting camp, $95 for skills camp, $130 for both camps. Southland: The Hillcrest High School athletic department will hold its annual Golf with the Pros outing June 29 at Ravisloe Country Club, 18231 S. Park Ave., Homewood. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. and tee-off is set for 1:30 p.m. Several current and former professional athletes are expected to participate. RUNNING
Olympia Fields: The Respond Now Southland 5K run/1-mile walk, in support of the poor in the south suburbs, will be held Saturday at Bicentennial Park. Also offered are a half-mile donut dash and a children’s fun run. Fees: $30 for 5K, $25 for walk, $30 for donut dash, $10 for children’s fun run.
