What attracts you to golf the most?
The endless pursuit of perfection. You can never fulfill that, but you always keep trying.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
There’s no script, and it’s something different every day. I walk in that door and have no idea how the day is going to go. Plus, the golf course is my office. It’s a pretty cool office.
What do you enjoy outside of golf?
I do a lot of reading, usually mystery and suspend. I enjoy watching a lot of soccer as well as baseball and football.
Who’s in your dream foursome?
Walter Hagen, Seve Ballesteros and Bobby Jones.
Who do you think is the best golfer in the world?
I’d say Luke Donald because that’s what the rankings say. But Tiger Woods isn’t as far off as some people seem to think.
As told to Tommy Stokke
