Flossmoor, Homewood police blotter

FLOSSMOOR

BROKEN WINDOW: A basement window was broken June 21 at a house in the 1700 block of Lynwood Court.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A purse was stolen June 24 from a vehicle in a driveway in the 800 block of Maple Road.

STOLEN COPPER: Copper pipes were reported stolen June 26 from a house in the 19000 block of Harding Avenue.

HOMEWOOD

THEFT: Copper flashing material was stolen June 21 from behind a building at the Izaak Walton League, 1100 Ridge Road.

BURGLARY CHARGES: Jeffrey Daley, 18, 721 Blackhawk, University Park, was charged with residential burglary and resisting police, and Tony Scales, 22, 1516 Ellis, Ford Heights, was charged with residential burglary after they broke into a house June 22 in the 1000 block of 186th Street, police said.

SHED BURGLARY: A lawn mower was reported stolen June 22 from a shed in the 2200 block of Willow Road.

HOME BURGLARY: A computer and cash were stolen June 22 from an apartment in the 900 block of Elder Road.

BREAK-IN: A door was pried open and appliances were moved June 23 at a house in the 2300 block of 183rd Street.

BREAK-IN: A screen was removed and someone entered a house June 25 in the 2400 block of Patricia Lane. The person fled through an upstairs window upon the return of a homeowner.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen June 25 or 26 from an unlocked vehicle in the 2200 block of Willow Road.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: An owner’s manual was stolen June 26 or 27 from an unlocked vehicle in the 18400 block of Perth Avenue.

RETAIL THEFT: David Stamps, 34, of Hobart, Ind., was charged with retail theft after he stole about $400 worth of items June 28 from Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.

THEFT: A seat, mirrors and other items were stolen June 28 from a motorcycle in the bed of a truck at Blueberry Hill Restaurant, 2155 183rd St.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A GPS unit and change were stolen June 28 from a vehicle in the 18300 block of Center Avenue, police said.
