COUNTRY CLUB HILLS

MARIJUANA CHARGES: Brandon Crawford, 22, 18641 Maple Ave.; Andrew Holloway, 18, 4600 Flossmoor Road; Jivan Kates, 4501 W. 183rd St.; and Alexander Talabi, 4180 W. 189th St., all of Country Club Hills, were charged with possession of marijuana after police questioned them Oct. 17 at 187th Street and John Avenue, police said.

TIRES SLASHED: A Country Club Hills woman told police a relative slashed a tire on her car Oct. 18 outside her home in the 3700 block of 168th Street.

TRESPASSING: Brandy Norwood, 18, 17704 Grandview, Hazel Crest, was charged with criminal trespass after entering Hillcrest High School, 17401 Pulaski Road, Country Club Hills, on Oct. 18, where she is not a student, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Rina Mora, 26, 18334 Torrence Ave., Lansing, was charged with possession of marijuana, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and improper lane use after an Oct. 22 stop at 168th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

WEAPONS CHARGE: Brandon Sims, 20, 17750 Arlington Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and running a stop sign Oct. 23 after a stop in front of his home, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Loren Nawrocki, 50, 9000 Ridgeland Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of marijuana after police responded Oct. 24 to a call of a suspicious person sitting in the street in the 18200 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Heather Kennedy, 21, 18411 Dartry Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property after an Oct. 25 incident at her home, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Antoine Reese Jr., 19, 18611 Cedar Ave., Country Club Hills, was charged with possession of marijuana after an Oct. 26 stop at 176th Street and Country Club Drive, police said.

ASSAULT: James Hampton, 35, of Bolingbrook, was charged with assault after arguing with another man and flashing a metal tool Oct. 27 in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Clarence Highsmith, 44, 14302 Michigan Ave., Riverdale, was charged with retail theft after stealing $356 in merchandise Oct. 27 from Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Hybert Richardson, 80, 17607 Winston Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 28 disturbance at his home, police said.

HOMEWOOD

THEFT: A MP3 player was stolen Oct. 12 or 13 at a residence in the 1400 block of Linden Road.

THEFTS: Seventeen tires and rims were stolen between Oct. 13 and 15 from 11 different vehicles at Chevrolet of Homewood, 18033 Halsted St.

BOGUS BILLS: Six counterfeit $20 bills were used between Oct. 14 and 16 at T.J. Maxx, 17900 Halsted St.

BIKE THEFT: A bike was stolen Oct. 15 or 16 outside a residence in the 1300 block of Poplar Court.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eric Myers, 42, 1522 186th St., Homewood, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 16 disturbance in the 18400 block of Martin Avenue, police said.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: A glass door was broken Oct. 16 at a residence in the 18300 block of Hood Avenue.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Someone tried to pry open a door Oct. 16 at a residence in the 3000 block of Matthew Lane.

BURGLARY: A laptop, the computer’s power cord and a carrying bag were stolen Oct. 17 from a residence in the 18200 block of Morgan Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: A garage service door was damaged Oct. 17 or 18 in the 2400 block of Hawthorne Road.

GRAFFITI: A street sign was defaced with graffiti Oct. 18 or 19 at 191st Street and Jonathan Lane.

NO LICENSE: Lionel Smith, 28, of Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving without a valid license, speeding, obstructing police and no insurance after an Oct. 20 stop at Gottschalk Avenue and 187th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: David Banks, 43, 18219 Morgan Ave., Homewood, was charged with driving on a suspended license and criminal trespass to a vehicle after stop Oct. 20 in the 1800 block of Terrace Road, police said.

THEFTS: Four tires and rims were stolen Oct. 20 or 21 of a vehicle at Chevrolet of Homewood, 18033 Halsted St.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A pocket knife was stolen Oct. 20 or 21 from an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of Cedar Road.

RESISTING POLICE: Preston Sparkman, 26, of Flossmoor, was charged with resisting police, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after an incident Oct. 21 in the 18200 block of Morgan Street, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A GPS system and radar detector were stolen Oct. 21 from a vehicle in the parking lot of Menards, 17545 Halsted St.

DUI ARREST: Jesse Graham, 52, of Glenwood, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and no insurance Oct. 22 after a stop in the 800 block of 183rd Street, police said.
