H-F Racquet and Fitness Club to celebrate 40th anniversary

The H-F Racquet and Fitness Club, 2920 W. 183rd St., Homewood, will celebrate its 40th anniversary this week.
The celebration will begin with a Members Only Day on Monday. The following days the club will be open for free to residents of Homewood and Flossmoor, as well as surrounding communities.
Each day will be devoted to a specific segment of the population, with classes, activities and events specifically designed for them, club officials said. These days will offer free entry to the club, plus other fees for some events or activities.
Tuesday is Senior Day for those age 62 and older; Wednesday is Group Fitness Day; Thursday is Sports Day; and Friday is Employee Recognition Day.
Saturday is Family Day and will include tennis for children age 10 and younger, family swim, children’s yoga, a tennis mixer and a buffet.
The club will offer an early fitness class and an early bird breakfast on Sunrise Sunday, which is Jan. 13.
